Friction Folders:

Two ideas behind these knives:

1. I wanted to make a custom folding knife that was affordable for everyone, but still used modern, quality materials.

2. It had to be a knife that was legal everywere

Sollution:  a friction folder made with G10 and carbon steel.

A friction folder is one of the oldest folding knife designs you will find.  It's a very simple system:  the knife opens and closes. That's it.  no lock, no extra's,..   In the open position, you place your thumb on the long tang, so it 'locks' the knife in open position.

Since it has no lock, the knife is 100% legal in the UK and Germany.  (locking folders are now forbidden overthere)  I also make sure the blade length is less than 3 inch.  (longer is illegal in the UK)
