The Chinese folder has a very traditional leaf shaped blade.  Originally,they're slipjoints, with carbon steel blades and usually buffalo horn handles.

Bob Lum was one of the makers that used modern materials on this design.   I've always been a fan of his work, and especially of his version of the Chinese folder.

That's why I wanted to make my own version of it.   After a lot of scetches, this is what I came up with.
