My name is Filip De Leeuw, from Belgium, and I've been making knives since the end of 2003.

I was just bored and wanted to do something with my hands.  I bought some steel, a vertical drill and some files.  Couple of months later, I got myself a small belt grinder.  (and I still use that one).

Since you can't cary fixed blades in Belgium, I wanted to focuss my attention on folding knives.    I found a lot of nice knifemakers on the internet from all over the world that helped me out.

After a lot of trial and error, I finished my first framelock folders.   Since that moment,  I've been hooked !
